Calvary's newest Christian Formation Class, In the Spirit of the Circle, is a Native American/Episcopal curriculum that explores the close relationship between Christianity and Native American spirituality.  Relevant for all ages and backgrounds, we encourage you to join us on Sunday evenings for class and a potluck supper.

Can I be Indigenous and Christian ?  June 3, 5-7 p.m.

The story of Christianity is often a confusing and sad tale for many Native American and Indigenous people.  We have heard the stories of missionaries who helped Indigenous people and loved them with the love of Jesus.  Unfortunately some people who also called themselves Christian harmed Native American Indian and Indigenous people, often using the Doctrine of Discovery as a way to justify their actions.  Join us June 3 for our final season program of In the Spirit of the Circle; as we consider questions of faith, its' role in our lives, and a closer relationship with God.
