Service for July 21, 2019

SIXTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST
Almighty God, the fountain of all wisdom, you know our necessities before we ask and our ignorance in asking: Have compassion on our weakness, and mercifully give us those things which for our unworthiness we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask; through the worthiness of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Summer Christian Formation  (July & August)

Summer Christian Formation will take place during July and August in Wagner Parish Hall after the 9:30 service. We will spend these months learning more about racial reconciliation. These conversations will be without shame or blame as we listen deeply and learn more about our community, stories, and each other. Pick up a copy of The Little Book of Racial Healing (for $6) in the Parish Office or Wagner, information on the years-long focus of racial reconciliation in the Diocese of Virginia by our Bishops, and a timeline of some events and efforts in Virginia.

· July 14th ~ We will be discussing chapters each week from the book of The Little Book of Racial Healing.

Adult Forum: 9:15 am  September through June
We will meet in the Browne Room of Weber Hall on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available to bring to class. Please plan to join us. The discussions will be facilitated by Rev. Valerie and Jean Mary Taylor
